Heeey! It’s been like a month since I last posted. I don’t plan to make that a habit. I did, however, spend most of that time making my newest layout into my very first wordpress theme. I’d like to say it was easier than I expected, but honestly it took a lot of trial and error. But, it’s finally how I want it. Emma mentioned that the brown and blue made her a bit googly-eyed. I’m used to seeing it, so I never thought about it.. but does anyone else agree? Maybe I should change to a softer blue and spare your eyesight, hehe

Edit: I changed the background to a soft purple. On this prehistoric computer from work it looks fine, but there’s no telling what it really looks like. What’s it looking like for you?? /edit

Things are going quite well. I finally got around to posting apartment pictures in my flickr album. I’m going to set up an album on the site too for people that are flickrless.

Congrats to everyone who participated and won awards in the Aquarium Activity at The Quilting Bee! And thank you to those that voted.. I was happy to receive 3rd Place Most Creative. So yay!

Oh, and in the time that I have spent not blogging, Sam and I got a new pet. Not a kitty cat.. yet. But, and chameleon! You can see his picture on my about me page. His name is Beethoven, which goes well with our little baby Mozart.
